DUBAI: Following the successful opening of Concourse A at Dubai Airport, Vindico Retail is to continue to provide tenant coordination & design review services to the airport’s owner & manager, Dubai Airports.
The follow-on appointment will see Vindico Retail work with Dubai Airport’s Commercial Team to manage the delivery of specialty retail and food & beverage units within the redevelopment of the existing Terminals 1 and 2, and in Concourse D, a new 20million passenger capacity terminal currently under construction.
“We are extremely proud of our contribution to the successful opening of Concourse A and appreciate the opportunity to continue working with Eugene Barry and his team, and their Concessionaires in support of their ambitious plans for Dubai’s retail & catering offer”, comments Mark Holmans, Vindico Retail Project Director.
The appointment will also see Vindico Retail’s involvement at the Al Maktoum International Airport, part of Dubai World Central, which is forecast to handle its first passengers in late 2013.“Airport’s are an exciting and important part of our plans”, says Peter Row, Founding Director of Vindico Retail. “Our integrated tenant coordination & design review offer fits perfectly with the needs of Dubai Airport, within a client relationship that motivates us to perform whilst building on our knowledge of the airport delivery environment, which is quite different to shopping centres.”
